Office 2010 + Voting + Networking

Office 2010

My dearest lappie came with a 60 days trial version of 2007 which expired when I was preparing a presentation for one of my class. Luckily,my uncle installed Office 2003 in my lappie so I used that instead but since Office 2007 came with new stuff,I can't do much of editing using Office 2003.

When I was going to Office 2007,I spotted Office 2010. At first,I thought that since 2010 is a beta version,I shuld buy 2007 rite? But after trying 2o1o on my fren's lappie, I decided to buy it...

The inferface is quite good, its not as crowded as 2007 and way cooler looking than 2007,so far,I'm liking it....

Voting

As some of u might noticed,a lot of ppl are speculating/ gearing up for the next election that is going to be held soon (some say within a year), my question is have u registered urself as a voter?

If u haven't, u better go and do it soon if u wanna vote in the coming election.. Remember that the most important right that we have as a citizen is to choose who we want to be in the Government. So and register urself.....

Networking

At 1st,I hated networking but now since I see the results of networking, I'm loving it. It is easy to get information or to settle things when u know the insiders especially when u want things to be done fast. Yes, I know that its tedious but in the end,it is a worthy investment...

Maid issues

As uolls remember,I blogged that my maid is going back to Indonesia for a short holiday somewhere in last Dec.

Guess what? She is making that visit permanent,she wouldn't be coming back as promised. Actually,I wasn't surprised with her actions,its just a typical thing that an Indon maid would do.

I don't understand why the Gov. is being unfair with the new maid ruling,the maid got a better deal out of it while we got to suffer and tahan with their drama.

So what if the Indons ain't sending their ppl here for work,there are plenty of other places to get maids and in the long run,Indonesia is the one who suffers while at least financially.

As for a new maid,we might be hiring a Cambodian or Vietnamese maid soon but the mum still wants an Indon.......... see how lah...

Ps: Bear2,can send ur maid to my house on the weekends tak? My pipes need some cleaning.

Blood strangers

Sometimes Blood become strangers in our lives and Strangers become Blood

Ever heard of the saying above, I am the living proof of this saying. In my house, the whole family are strangers. We don't know about the other members of the house. None of us know what the others favorite things are or what is their itinerary for the day is. We have to update each other on the programs that we have on that day or week.

Now, u may wonder whether the whole family are staying apart or are busy people? The answer is we are not staying apart,we are staying together and we are just the average family, dad and mum are working, my sis and I are uni students and the last 2 members are school children.

How does the family functions? Its easy, talk when the need arises, good deeds go unrewarded, bad deeds, well they are hushed up in public.

What keeps the family running? The green dough.

Dreams of the parents? That is simple, be filial, support the family in times of need.

But you see that is a big crack in the family which is me. I'm gay and i don't love the family even a inch,maybe in times of need, i may help them but again its just a maybe.

Now, as i expect,many would say that I'm the odd one out, creating troubles for the sake of amusement.
