We are Humans too

Whence spring these inclinations, rank and strong?

And harming no one, wherefore call them wrong?

I was watching Philadelphia when I realized that we had achieved a lot in creating awareness about Homosexuality. I still remembered about Stonewall riots and those brave ppl who dared to go against the Government to get equal rights for us.

But they left us without finishing their work,we inherited their dreams of making LBGT people having the same rights as Heteros,so that we can get married,have kids and be ourselves and not afraid of being persecuted or being labeled as crazy.

History had shown that people are afraid of the unknown,in the last millenia,activists had fought for Rights,Freedom and Equality. In this millenia,we are fighting for the same thing but for a different group of ppl.

LGBTs are not aliens,we are from the same species. Why are u so afraid of us? Denying us the chance of being happy and human. Why are u shunning us? Are we that powerful till u have to enforce laws for us,dictating how we shuld act?

Yes,I agree that with our presence,ur way of life is threatened. The norms of society are being questioned,after all who says that a man can't fall in love with a man or a woman can't fall in love with a man.

Or are u afraid that we might corrupt ur sons or daughters with our ways? Don't they have a right to decide?I pity those children who have to choose between their parents and their lives. Stop turning the other way or changing the subjects when we raise our issues,after all we did agree to hear your issues.

Sometimes I wonder why being gay is so wrong till parents could disown their own children. Are we that disgusting? U taught us that being honest is the best policy but when we are truthful,u start to curse us and recite divine curse or even call down the wrath of God,are we really demons?

My prayers are with those activists that are lobbying for equality among humans.,after all we are humans too.
