This year is going to be lest memorable Raya ever. The whole family exec pt me would be going to Singapore for Raya due to some cock-up in the immigration office over my passport. As some of u know that I was formerly a Sporean who changed his citizenship to Malaysian so that it would be easier to apply for jobs,uni and etc.
Why got this cock-up? The immigration office said that during the application of my citizenship,I skipped a step. According to the guidelines,I was supposed to go the Immigration Office to fill up some documents before going to JPN but since I'm applying for Citizenship instead of PR,the legal counsel that I had said that its okay to go straight to JPN. To me,their explanation is worthless.In my defence,I ask them since I got the Malaysian IC and Birth Cert., why can't they change the whole procedure to accommodate the present status. Their reply is simple,they can't do that,procedure is procedure. Then I realised that the prob in Malayisa is not red tape but the lack of cooperation between Ministries.For instance,JPN is in charge of Citizenship issues while Immigration is in charge of Immigrates,Customs and Border issues. The ideal solution is to let JPN to deal with Immigrates and Citizenship and Immigration to deal Customs and Borders.This would make life simpler for everyone.
The 2nd reason is due to the family business which must be open on the 3rd day of Raya.So I have to be the one to handle the business since the parents are going to be back only on the 5th day of Raya.
So all in all,I'll stuck in Shah Alam for 5 days. I do hope that Lil prince and Al are in town so that I could do a mini Raya celebration of my own. I wonder who else is in town?

ah really? ill be heading to malacca for raya. My maternal grandparents are there. Im just afraid something might cock up on my end too :(
