Could you spot the difference between those 2 words? So have u been listening or just hearing when someone talks?

Of course there's a difference. You can't choose to not want to hear something, but you can choose to not listen. Listening is something you have to put your mind and effort to.
You can hear without listening. But you can't listen without hearing. Kinda like how you can talk without speaking.

yeah ironically ppl hear but not listen eh? im one of the guilty ones esp when im doing work and someone else is yakking hahaha

yea in the court sometimes the judge will say i am hearing, not listening...
